People in Live Music

Executive, promoter, manager, ticketing and venue profiles mapping the people who shape the modern live-music economy.

Ownership records explain what a company holds. They do not explain who decides that a tour plays stadiums rather than arenas, which festival gets bought, or how a ticketing contract is negotiated. Those decisions belong to a small number of people, and this directory records them the same way the industry register records companies: a current role, the sources that state it, and a clear separation between what a person does now and what they once did.

Each profile carries a sourced career record, a qualitative reading of where the person's influence actually reaches, and typed relationships to the companies, venues and festivals documented elsewhere on Live Index. Influence is described in categories rather than scores, because no published method would make a number here meaningful.
