Who books an artist's live dates is one of the most consequential and least documented facts in the concert business. This register records that relationship where a public document states it, and records nothing where one does not.

What this register is
A booking agency sells an artist's live performances. It negotiates guarantees, decides which offers reach the artist and shapes how a tour is routed. That makes representation a structural fact about the concert market rather than a piece of trade gossip, and it is the one relationship in the touring chain with no public register at all. Promoters are visible on tickets, venues are visible on maps, ownership is visible in filings. Representation is announced once and then disappears.
The Representation Index is the beginning of that register. It holds 137 relationship records covering 133 artists and 5 agencies, each drawn from a public document that Live Index has read and dated. It is a sample of what is publicly verifiable, not a roster and not a census. An artist's absence from it means Live Index holds no verified evidence about that artist, and nothing more.
No market share, roster size or concentration figure is derived from these records, and none should be. A count of rows here is a count of what has been documented, which is a fact about the register rather than about the industry. The methodology sets out the inclusion rules, the evidence hierarchy and the treatment of territory, co-representation and change.
