Standards

How these records are compiled

Each edition record starts from coverage published at the time of that edition. Attendance and economic figures carry an explicit measure type and the party that produced them, and unlike figures are never merged into a single series. Where sources disagree, both figures are shown. Nothing is estimated, interpolated or filled in.

Individual roles are recorded only for editions where a source names the person in that role. Where ownership or operation changed hands, the record says so on the editions affected. Media is published only with a named creator and a link to the archive it came from. See the methodology for the standards this follows; full source ledgers sit at the foot of every archive page.
