Who owns and operates Neptune Theatre (Seattle)?
The Neptune opened in 1921 as a neighbourhood theatre and became a live-performance venue only in 2011, when Seattle Theatre Group reopened it after renovation. STG is the current lessee and operator; the history page does not make it the owner, and the register does not.
Early accounts of the theatre seating about a thousand people describe 1921, not today, so no current capacity is recorded. Together with the Paramount, which STG owns, and the Moore, which it operates, the Neptune shows one presenter running three buildings with different documented relationships; the Moore’s ownership and lease arrangement are not established by these sources.
