| File | Contents | Format |
|---|---|---|
| segments.json | The eight segment definitions with eligibility rules, boundaries and release status. | JSON |
| segments.csv | Segment slug, name, definition and release status, one row per segment. | CSV |
| glossary.json | Every framework term with its one-sentence definition and page path. | JSON |
Specified, published on first release
These contracts are fixed now so that a consumer can build against them before the first release, and so that the schema cannot be quietly reshaped to fit whatever the first measurement happens to look like.

| rebalance.json | effective_date, additions, deletions, weight_changes, corporate_actions, methodology_version |
Licensing boundary
Live Index owns the methodology, the segment taxonomy, the glossary and the compilation. Those are offered for reuse with attribution to Live Index and a link to the page they came from.
Live Index does not own, and therefore cannot relicense, third-party market data, exchange prices, company financial statements or rating agency output. Where a future export carries a figure derived from such a source, the source and its own terms govern that figure, and the export names it per row rather than in a blanket notice.
Attribution requirements
- Name Live Index as the compiler and cite the methodology version the file declares.
- Retain the per-row source field on any redistributed derivative.
- Do not present a Live Index framework export as a released index level or as a market data feed.
