Red Light Management is an artist-management company, not a booking agency. Its own account dates the business to 1991 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and names Coran Capshaw as its founder. The company directs fans to artist-specific official contacts and warns against people impersonating artists to request payments or fan-card purchases; that guidance is the safest route for anyone trying to reach a listed artist.
A manager advises an artist across recording, touring and business decisions and is usually paid a commission. A booking agent sells live dates to promoters and talent buyers under a territorial mandate. A promoter takes the financial risk on a show. Red Light's roster tells a reader who an artist's management is; it does not say who books that artist's tours, in which territory, or on what terms. Live Index therefore records the roster as management listings and never uses them to publish or index a booking profile.
The company's ownership structure and any outside equity are not stated in the source cited here and are recorded as unknown.
